As human beings we have 7 basic movement patterns. These all originate from our cave man days.
They are;
- Squat
- Lunge
- Push
- Pull
- Hinge
- Twist
- Gait
All of us will perform one or more of these movements everyday. Unfortunately our lifestyle can be the cause of us moving freely and we are reminded of this when we try to perform certain tasks. It could be just getting out of a chair, gardening, playing or doing activities with our children, sitting at an office desk for long periods of time. All of these and other daily things we do can bring on aches, pains or just restrict us from doing or not doing them.
So this class will take you through the 7 movement patterns. Performing movement through body resistance or using different pieces of equipment such as bands, rollers, vibration guns, balls, bungees and more. We will free up joints and tissue that restrict our movement.
The goals are;
- To get you moving through all the 7 movement patterns with a good and comfortable range of movement.
- To have you move without aches or pains during or after moving.
- Empower you will the tools and knowledge that you can apply what you learn in the comfort of your own home.
This is not like traditional exercise classes. Suitable for all ages and movement levels.
