3G EVENT TRAINING
Welcome to the 3G Fitness Event Support Group.
I have set up this group to add support to those participating in various events. Support can be in the form of technical, training programmes, sharing information about events and general tips to make your event more successful and enjoyable.
If you require some help preparing for an event then I can help you. You will have support and training for your event.
So if you are you new to events or just want to improve your skills, times or to have fun in an event then please contact me and let me know how I can help you. Whether it is a 5km fun run, your first marathon, Mud Sweat and Tears, Le Race or one of the many other events on offer, 3G Fitness has the experience and knowledge to guide you through a training plan to meet your goal.

John Growcott is a REP’s Registered Exercise Professional, Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor and is a TeMahiAko approved Assessor and ‘Winner” of the New Zealand Fitness award for training. Experienced in rehab work after an injury, Holistic Movement Coach and I specialize in soft tissue and joints. Strength and conditioning trainer in rugby, netball, football, race car drivers, golf and other sports. He has been involved in sport and the fitness industry for most of his life and his passion is to educate, promote and enhance healthy ongoing lifestyles for children and adults.
John is an experienced runner and multisport competitor. His running has included over twenty-five full marathons, ultra marathons (100kms), off road events and has competed ten times in the Speight’s Coast to Coast, mainly one day individual events. He has represented New Zealand in the sport of gymnastics as a gymnast and a coach.
