MAX is a 45-minute killer workout class. Designed for those that want a serious workout and want to be pushed to their limit.
MAX is a combination of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and Tabata (20 seconds work 10 seconds rest, 8 sets) type workouts. Short bursts of 20-40 seconds of unrelenting work will have your lungs gasping for oxygen, your heart rate pumping faster than a 100-meter sprinter, and your muscles burning with lactic acid. Body resistance, free weights and cardiovascular exercises will challenge you physically and mentally.
As you will be working in anaerobic threshold, you will wake up your metabolism. This will help burn that unwanted body fat and calories while exercising, and up to 24 hours after your workout ends. It will enhance your cardiovascular fitness, tone and strengthen your body.
Seal teams have a 40% rule. When your mind is telling you that you are done, that you are exhausted, that you cannot possibly go any further, you’re only actually only 40% done!
You will sweat a lot so dry fit singlet or top is recommended.
Bring a drink bottle and towel to your workout.
